Hi! My name is Linda Pulley Freeman. In 2012, I published my first book Thrive! out of my personal struggles and victories, while juggling my roles as an environmental engineer, wife, mom, pastor, humanitarian, mentor, community organizer, child advocate, and program developer. My husband (of over thirty years), David, and I make our home in Florida, and enjoy life with our son, Zachary, and his wife, Daniella, our daughter, Vanessa, our niece, Nina, and our grandchildren, Noah and Mia. My second book Inspired for Greater Things is also now available.
Since September 2013, I have been involved in a missions project in Cambodia. This project has really inspired me and opened many new doors of opportunity. Jeanette Munoz (shown with me below) is my missions coordinator, helping me with the mission team logistics for the projects chronicled in many of my blog posts. Jeanette writes about her own passion for missions on her blog “Athlete on a Mission.”
Photography is one of my hobbies. I am learning to use a 50 mm lens with my Canon EOS T3 Rebel camera. Many of the photographs on this blog I created with this camera.
In addition to learning about photography, I enjoy exercise. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and a member of the Yoga Alliance.
Besides The THRIVE! Journal, I write blog articles on leadership for the Lead Change Group Blog. I am one the Lead Change Instigators of the Lead Change Group, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization applying character-based leadership principles to help one another make a positive difference.
I hope my blog inspires you to do greater things where you live!
